Founder, Kyaisha Jenkins
Celebrate Life was founded by Kyaisha Jenkins with the belief that thriving individuals create thriving neighborhoods and thriving neighborhoods create resilient cities.
Celebrate Life is designed as an open, community-centered initiative. It is not about religious conversion. It is about demonstrating love in action, fostering collaboration, and strengthening access to practical resources for all.
The event creates space for:
Residents to connect with trusted local support
Businesses to serve beyond transactions
Churches to function as community storehouses of care
Organizations to coordinate rather than compete
Civic leaders to strengthen public engagement
Celebrate Life exists to cultivate connection, unity, and joy.
Celebrate Life began with a simple phrase received in prayer:
Celebrate Life.
At the time, there was no detailed blueprint, only a growing conviction that communities needed a space intentionally designed to promote unity, well-being, and collaboration.
As the vision developed, it became anchored in the concept of holistic health across seven dimensions of life: spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, financial, social, and vocational. These areas represent the fullness of the human experience. When one suffers, communities feel the impact. When each is supported, communities flourish.
Psalm 133:1 became the guiding foundation:
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”
Celebrate Life was formed at the intersection of unity and holistic well-being.
Strong communities are not built during emergencies; they are built beforehand.
When economic disruption, natural disasters, or social instability arise, cities rely on the relationships already formed. Celebrate Life intentionally strengthens those relational networks across sectors.
It brings together:
Local businesses
Churches and ministries
Nonprofits
Educational institutions
Civic departments
Community residents
Not for visibility alone, but for collaboration. Unity is not accidental. It is cultivated.
The Celebrate Life Community Festival is just the beginning.
The festival serves as Phase One: building awareness, partnership, and unity.
Future phases will expand into structured pathways focused on workforce development, mentorship alignment, housing mobility, and long-term vocational stability, aligning business incentives with community advancement.
The long-term vision is a scalable model adaptable to cities nationwide.
Celebrate Life is designed to extend beyond one location.
It is a replicable, adaptable framework for cities seeking to strengthen collaboration, restore dignity, and promote holistic well-being.
Communities across the country are invited to explore what it could look like to host Celebrate Life locally, bringing together businesses, churches, civic leaders, and residents under a shared mission of unity and growth.
Because when every life thrives, our community blossoms together.
Celebrate Life is structured around seven Life Zones representing the core dimensions of a thriving community:
Each zone is represented by local partners providing resources, education, services, demonstrations, and engagement opportunities designed to meet real needs.
This is not a commercial expo. It is a service-driven, resource-centered community experience.
